TATURA milk protein concentrate (MPC) is skim milk that has been concentrated by ultrafiltration of premium quality TATURA farm milk. Concentration of skim milk by ultra-filtration results in the retention of most of the protein (casein and whey proteins) while removing much of the water and some of the lactose, ash and other solids. TATURA MPC is produced as a free-flowing spray-dried powder containing 85% protein.

MPC is used widely as a balanced milk protein fortifier. The applications vary from cheesemilk extension through to use as a dairy ingredient in desserts, baked goods, toppings, low-fat spreads, dairy-based dry mixes, dairy-based beverages, sports-nutrition beverages, weightloss beverages and processed cheese products.
