Cream cheese is a soft, rich, mild-tasting white cheese with many ingredient applications. It is the primary ingredient in the dessert cheesecake, as a spread on bagels, and as an accompaniment for salmon or lox. It is also commonly used in icing mixtures such as those familiar on carrot cake giving a rich creamy taste sensation. TATURA Cream Cheese products are grouped into three main categories - Cream Cheese, Cream Cheese spread and Neufchatel. The products can be packed in a range of formats from consumer tubs (125-250g), foodservice blocks (1-5kg) and 20kg blocks for food processors.
