Tatura Milk and Bega Cheese

Tatura Milk and Bega Cheese have recently joined together to lead the way in the manufacture of a range of innovative, high quality dairy ingredients including butter, cheese, Milk Protein Concentrates (MPC's), milk powders, infant and nutritional formulas and bioactive ingredients.

Tatura Milk and Bega Cheese have a combined turnover of over $A600mil and exports products to over 60 countries, through the efforts of 900 dedicated staff over 3 sites.

Graduate Opportunities

Each year Tatura Milk Industries offers career opportunities to University and TAFE graduates in the areas of Food Technology and Engineering.  

We are also seek to support study placement and work experience for students wishing to develop a career in Food Manufacturing.

Apprenticeships and Traineeships

At Tatura Milk Industries we rely on our team of dedicated maintenance staff to keep the plant running smoothly and safely. To do this we employ a wide range of tradespeople such as electricians and fitter and turners, many who have joined the company as an apprentice. From time to time we employ people who are interested in developing specialised skills on traineeships. If Apprentice opportunities become available they will be advertised on this web site or in the Shepparton News.
 

Casual Production Employment

Tatura Milk Industries regularly advertises for casual production workers through our website (refer to 'Current Vacancies') and in the Shepparton News. Suitable persons wishing to apply for casual production positions will need to review a copy of the Casual Production Workers position description and email or post their resume with a cover letter to the Human Resources Department. Applications will only be accepted when a position is advertised and is submitted before the closing date. Applications will not be accepted by Tatura Milk Industries' Reception, therefore please post or email your application.

The recruitment process will require candidates to complete the following:

  • Aptitude Test

  • Pre-Employment medical screen

  • Police Check

  • Reference Check

  • Interview

Work Experience / Structured Workplace Learning

Tatura Milk Industries endeavours to support requests for Work Experience / Structured Workplace Learning Placement.  Requests are granted dependant on the Department and its resources at the time of the Placement Period. For areas of work experience interest see “Careers Profiles”.
