Tatura Milk and Bega Cheese

Tatura Milk and Bega Cheese have recently joined together to lead the way in the manufacture of a range of innovative, high quality dairy ingredients including butter, cheese, Milk Protein Concentrates (MPC's), milk powders, infant and nutritional formulas and bioactive ingredients.

Tatura Milk and Bega Cheese have a combined turnover of over $A600mil and exports products to over 60 countries, through the efforts of 900 dedicated staff over 3 sites.

Each year Tatura Milk Industries offers career opportunities to University and TAFE Gradates in the areas of Food Technology and Engineering.  

We are also seek to support study placement and work experience for students wishing to develop a career in Food Manufacturing.

Apprenticeships and Traineeships

At Tatura Milk Industries we rely on our team of dedicated maintenance staff to keep the plant running smoothly and safely. To do this we employ a wide range of tradespeople such as electricians and fitter and turners, many who have joined the company as an apprentice.

Casual Production Employment

Tatura Milk Industries employs the services of CVGT for the placement of casual production worker positions (refer to “Current Vacancies”). Persons wishing to apply for causal production positions will need to review a copy of the Casual Production Workers position description and register in person with CVGT to complete a Tatura Milk Industries Casual Employment Application form.

Work Experience

Tatura Milk Industries endeavours to support requests for Work Experience Placement.  Requests are granted dependant on the Department and its resources at the time of the Placement Period. For areas of work experience interest see “Careers Profiles”.
