When do jobs get updated on the Tatura Milk website?
The Tatura Milk Careers website is updated regularly as positions become available and as other positions close.

How long will it take for my application to be considered?
As part of our commitment to best practice in recruitment and selection Tatura Milk Industries aims to have feedback to candidates within two weeks for positions that have a specified close date. For positions with no specified close date or are “on-going” such as the casual production workers, your application will be considered as specific vacancies become available.

Do I need to address the Key Selection Criteria for “Staff Employment Contract” positions?
Yes. Applications that do not address the key selection criteria may not be considered.

How do I address the Key Selection Criteria?

Read the key selection criteria very carefully so that you understand the key terms and requirements and can prepare responses that are highly relevant and descriptive, but to the point.
When a key selection criterion uses the term “demonstrate” you will need to give an actual example(s) of how you have actually performed this activity or skill in your current or past role(s).
When a key selection criterion uses the term “knowledge” it requires you to explain how you acquired this learning such as formal study, training attendance or on- the-job experience. You will also need to show how you have applied this knowledge in your work and/or study experience.
Generally each key selection criteria requires a one to three paragraph response, but they should be to the point, quality rather than quantity is most important.

For production roles, can I contact Tatura Milk Industries for employment?
No. Tatura Milk Industries utilises the services of CVGT, for the placement of casual production worker positions, refer to the “Current Vacancies” to confirm if the position you are applying for is to be lodged with CVGT.

Can I apply for casual work at Tatura Milk Industries if I am not a resident of Australia?
Yes, we do we employ people on working visas. Applicants need to satisfy all the criteria of other candidates and we must sight a current working visa.

Can I apply for more than one position at a time? Can I apply if I have been unsuccessful for a previous Tatura Milk Industries position?
Yes to both, if the position(s) matches your skills and abilities you are encouraged to apply for more than one position at a time or future vacancies.
